Contribution of Social Identity, Stereotypes and Prejudice on Intention of Social Conflict

The intention to accurately predict the performance of social conflict behavior is influenced by stereotypes, identity, and prejudice. Based on dynamics relationship, this research aims find relationship between prejudice with doing conflict. analysis result, intentions are useful for preventing This study used purposive sampling participants 150 students in 10th grade State Senior High School (SMAN) 1 Belitang East Oku Regency, South Sumatra Province. data were collected using a scale total 21 items item determinant (rit) ranging from 0.274-0.777, stereotypes 24 0.291 0.841, identity 0.290 0.897, 0.400. -0.796. results multiple linear regression showed that correlation coefficient R 0.269 p = 0.000 (p <0.05), which significant positive results, occurs because people give negative attributes or traits other parties, causes bias judge groups, hostility members groups. These findings can be prevention minimizing changing into judgment, knowing does not affect objective judgment reducing so peaceful situation realized.
